Raytheon Technologies HAWK Major End Item in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

The TA provides phase 3 HAWK Major End Item guidance and training to UAE military customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, inspection procedures and trouble shooting techniques. The TA analyzes equipment failures to determine cause and recommends corrective action to UAE personnel. The TA needs to have a good working knowledge and be able to repair all HAWK major end items. The TA should also be able to solve HAWK system problems that might arise. The TA is required to work hand in hand with UAE military personnel on equipment problems and provide training at the same time. The TA should be able to set up and teach scheduled training classes. This would include some classroom and some on job training (OJT). The TA should be familiar with all HAWK technical manuals and be able to teach the UAE military on the correct usage of these manuals. The TA will be required at times to work alone with the UAE military personnel and provide guidance and assistance on all and any HAWK related problems.

This requires not only technical skills but also the ability to be an effective communicator.

This position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Required Skills:

Hands on depot level experience in the operation and sustainment of the HAWK Phase III Radar System. Extensive knowledge and experience in the operation, maintenance and sustainment procedures, of all the HAWK Missile System Major End Item's assemblies and subassemblies. Demonstrated knowledge with the operational/analytical software used on the HAWK radar systems, such as Status Monitor and Radar Diagnostics. Experienced in using HAWK major end item troubleshooting software aids such as Status Monitor and Radar Diagnostics. Ability to distinguish between digital and analog problems. Knowledge in the utilization, calibration and repair of Field Maintenance Equipment (FME), Dimensional Test Equipment (DTE) and Computer Controlled Test Equipment. Experienced using ATE consoles in troubleshooting to a component level of repair, the Hawk Missile System assemblies and subassemblies.

Knowledge in the utilization of common industry external test equipment, such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power meters, frequency counters, spectrum and digital analyzers.

Experience using the basic MS Office suite of tools.

Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. General application of concepts and principles.


Education (including Major):

Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of related experience, or Associates Degree with 8 years of experience or HS Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience.
