Dept Description:

Raytheon Intelligence & Space, Puerto Rico is seeking Engineers to join the Engineering Process, Metrics, and Configuration Management, Data Management Department which:

  • Owns discipline processes and strategy

  • Owns discipline metrics and strategy

  • Consults and reviews program process and discipline metrics tailoring

  • Provides process and discipline metrics learning

  • Provides guidance on [discipline metrics data analysis, validation, and correction

  • Supports Product Line initiatives/needs with discipline metrics data and analysis

  • Provides cost estimation (bid) support, including disposition of historical data

Job Description:

The Process Analyst is responsible for developing and improving defined processes for the Common Engineering organization enabling cost effective and compliant solutions for our customers. The domain includes all engineering disciplines. This position reports directly to a RIS Engineering PEL.

Detailed responsibilities include:

• Supports strategy development and implementation plans for the hardware organization.

• Supports engineering improvement initiatives.

• Supports deployment and maintenance including analyzing new corporate policies and industry standards.

• Assists programs in understanding of processes, practices and tasks.

• Utilize techniques to continually assess the RIS organization so that RIS maintains its certifications.

U.S. Citizenship status is required

Location: Aguadilla, Puerto Rico

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ direct related experience in industry with a Bachelor’s Degree in STEM.

  • Office Products, specifically Excel

  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and applications

  • Demonstrated ability to work multiple tasks and priorities, and to complete simultaneous assignments with high quality and timely products.

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Power BI

  • Knowledgeable of Engineering processes & metrics and how to manage with them; strong advocate for process improvement.

  • Engineering Capability Strategy Development

  • Flexibility to perform other key roles, as backup

  • Leadership – clear and effective communication; pro-actively solve problems and removes roadblocks; identify risks & manage them; exploit opportunities; vigilant scope/change management awareness

  • Effective facilitator; effective delegation skills; strong judgment and decision-making ability

  • Demonstrated ability to work multiple tasks and priorities, and to complete simultaneous assignments with high quality and timely products.

  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization

Required Education:

  • Requires a Bachelor of Science STEM degree and at least 2 years of professional engineering experience.
