Raytheon Technologies SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in Albany, Georgia
Raytheon Technologies is currently looking for a Supply Technician in Albany, Georgia. The candidate will report to the Site Manager at Albany, Georgia. This position will be executing the day-to-day operations at the field site and implement effective Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) management utilizing the Force-Logistics-System II (FLS II). Candidate must have Secondary Reparable (SECREPS) knowledge in order to meet primary goals of the successful routing of Material Remanufacturing Requisitions into FLS II, and the physical movement of retrograde property from the Marine Corps to the appropriate sub-contractor for remanufacturing and re-certification. Other duties assigned but are not limited to the collection and input of data into the FLS II computer program.
This position performs limited aspects of technical supply-management work (e.g., inventory-management, storage-management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to local, or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply-management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines.
Ensures secondary repairables are properly identified by NSN using Haystack
Inspects secondary repairables using established configuration checklists and understand the components of the checklist for successful inspection
Capture's Digital images and electronically files those pictures to identify those SECREPS that are not within configuration compliance
Prepares, crates, containers and packaging, while verifying serviceability in accordance with industry standard
Identifies potential Hazmat/ITAR components and prepares appropriate documentation
Schedules and Monitors SECREPS shipments via U.S. Navy Advanced Tractability and Control (ATAC Government transportation system)), and Electronic-Retrograde-Management-System (eRMS)
Utilizes commercial carrier Web based programs (Transportation-Management-System (TMS)) to request quotes, schedule pickups and print shipping
Inspects all inbound and outbound equipment to ensure quality control requirements are met
Performs administrative updates of all applicable software programs as desired. i.e., Lotus notes, Microsoft programs, Company provided anti-virus software and FLS II
Performs extensive Administration, Warranty Tracking, Lost, Damaged or Destroyed (LDD) and filing of all documents
Maintains all files opened, closed and archived
Performs the duties of the Site Manager during times when absent
Travels to other sites to support them during times of surge when needed
Must be a US CITIZEN
Have a reasonable understanding of Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) concepts, experience in working with the Military and a clear understanding of daily operations as a contractor at an offsite field location on a Marine Corps Installation.
Experience in working with Oracle based programs, Microsoft programs and Lotus Notes a must. Possess a basic technical knowledge regarding the operation of mechanical equipment/military vehicles.
Candidate must be eligible to obtain an US Passport as occasional travel may be required to include International and possess a valid US Driver’s license.
Candidate must be able to pass background checks as required to obtain access to military Installations
Good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines
An understanding of the needs of the organization serviced
Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
MANDATORY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, be physically able to work in a warehouse environment, travel and work outdoors with climates that could be extreme both hot and cold.
Minimum of 2 years logistics support experience in working with the United States Marine Corps and possess the ability to perform independent work by providing logistical support and system support effectiveness to include but not limited to Transportation, Packaging and Data input.
