Performs a variety of production/manufacturing operation activities.
Sets up and assemble parts.
Demonstrates proper use of simple hand and machine tools.
Accurately reads and follows procedures, routing and other work instructions.
Responsible for quality product standards with no defects.
Ensures creation of parts meet customer deadlines and expectations.
Complies with applicable elements of quality systems.
Participates in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events as required.
Participate in audits. • Acquires applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.
Maintains materials, equipment, and work area in clean and orderly condition.
Complies with all rules and regulations of United Technologies, including, but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, International Trade Compliance, and Human Resources. Examines methods and results for conformance to standards and reinstruct as required.
Reports to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
