The candidate will be joining the Digital Technologies (DT) Advanced Visualization group as an entry-level developer. The group is responsible for supporting Advanced Visualization Value Streams across the entire product lifecycle, from Capture to Sustainment. The candidate will help develop and maintain interactive applications, virtual tours, technology proof of concepts, and customer driven content. These will be deployed across a wide variety of platforms, to include large scale visualization screens, VR, AR, web, and mobile devices. In addition, the position will include opportunities to demonstrate and present the work to customers, both internal and external. The successful candidate is one who enjoys working on cutting-edge projects in the field of AR/VR/XR and tinkering with emerging technologies.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Design and develop immersive and interactive applications and related content
Design and develop applications for AR, VR, and XR
Utilize the latest large scale visualization technologies and software to develop content around a set of customer-driven requirements
Research and conduct proof-of-concept demonstrations with the latest advances in Advanced Visualization technologies to determine their applicability to our team and RTX
Support live events and demonstrations, both local and remote. To include engaging internal and external customers.
Able to report to the Visualization Center in Andover, MA based on intra-day business demand.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) but not limited to Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Design
Experience with game development engines (Unity or Unreal)
Experience with one or more object oriented programming languages to include C++ / C#
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Experience developing AR/VR applications
Experience with augmented reality frameworks like Mixed Reality Toolkit, Android ARCore, and iOS ARKit
Experience with 3D modeling tools (ex: Maya, 3D Max, or Blender)
Experience with advanced audio / video equipment including large scale screens, NVIDIA GPU technologies, video matrix switchers, and 3D stereoscopic equipment
Experience with web development libraries such as VueJS and NodeJS
Experience with UI design theory
Experience programming network protocols communication (ex: UDP/TCP, HTTP, Bluetooth)
