Job Summary :
As a part of Supplier Quality, the Incoming Inspection team is responsible for evaluating and assessing the quality of the material being delivered to Raytheon by our suppliers.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Investigate and resolve issues associated with non-conforming material
Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities
Support activities associated with driving departmental metrics
Work closely with IBEW inspectors
Qualifications You Must Have :
2 years in quality engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain discipline
Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience with data analyzes, such as cycle time, efficiency, capacity, and utilization
Experience in utilizing Microsoft Office Tools such as (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access)
Ability to read mechanical and/or electrical drawings and interpret/create requirements
Qualifications We Value :
Experience working in an operations/manufacturing environment that required decisive and timely decision making.
Experience in managing multiple priorities and maintaining deadlines
Experience in working as part of a cross functional business team
Strong presentation skills and proven success in communication to all level audiences
Experience in DoD environment, especially as it pertains to procedure creation
Understanding of 6 sigma tools
General knowledge of aerospace / defense products and systems technologies
