Collins Aerospace is looking for a talented, energetic, and self-driven individual to join the IMS team and serve as the project manager for the implementation and execution of our Digital Transformation initiative. The successful candidate will support the Integrated Digital Solutions (IDS) leader and project team to lead planning, execution, transition, and deployment of change management processes to support the IMS Digital transformation. The successful candidate will help to define risk and change impact, ensure alignment and understanding of deliverables, develop communications, manage project plan, and track and report progress. Finally, the team will look for this candidate to bring their own skills and expertise around Digital Transformation to help shape, define, and accelerate our transformation to ensure the highest level of success for the organization.
A large portion of this position also includes collaborating with senior leaders and employees from various portfolios and shared functional services for smooth implementation.

The ideal candidate for this role has experience planning, developing, and delivering successful change management solutions.
Promote and sustain a digital transformation culture and lead digital media solutions development across the client organization, including fit for purpose, design, development, operations and support
Management of large-scale technology implementation projects, requiring business process reengineering and organizational change management
Oversee and manage the lifecycle and operational aspects of the IMS Digital Transformation project and related initiatives.
Liaise between project management and planning, project team, and senior management.
Review status of projects, manage schedules and prepare status reports and presentations for leadership briefings.
Assess project issues and collaborate with subject matter experts and functional leads to conduct comprehensive impact assessments and to develop change management and communications plans.
Design and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
Schedule and lead regular project cadences to ensure progress in accordance with project timeline.
Conduct risk analyses to proactively identify, address, and monitor risks and issues
Support, engage, and coach senior leaders through change
Lead the planning and execution of discovery and design sessions/workshops focused on ideation, solution design, rapid prototyping, and solution iteration
Manage multiple digital and innovation projects and work-streams, including project planning, execution, and milestone reporting
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR
In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
Experience building and growing a digital transformation practice
Experience facilitating and successfully implementing digital innovation and transformational changes in organizations
Experience leading Digital Transformation and technology projects and programs, including Cloud (Azure), infrastructure optimization for scale and reliability, and automation (systems, process, organization).
Experience leading business enterprise data strategy involving transforming data-driven culture.
Experience in developing and enhancing data driven strategy including establishing governance approach, monitoring outcomes, and improving use of data and analytics to deliver business value to existing and new business models.
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and other analytical tools.
Ability to use the ACE operating system to apply lean techniques in a transactional complex environment.
Demonstrated analytical skills couple with global business perspective.
Travel estimated at 10%
Demonstrate leadership by example, building trust and inspiring people through a shared vision where people feel valued, empowered, and fulfilled
Ability to independently lead and support technical meetings with customers, teammates, program management and leadership
Experience in developing, implementing and managing complex projects
Industry experience, project management or product support
