Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)
RIS is seeking an adaptable and engaged candidate with 2+ years of experience executing daily operations and activities related to cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA) requirements. The ISSO will be expected to execute activities that include those outlined within various Risk Management Frameworks (RMF) and security risk mitigation models and requirements to include those outlined in NIST Special Publications 800-37 and 800-53.

Minimum of 2+ years of experience working directly in the IT Security, Information Assurance (IA) or Cybersecurity disciplines
Active TS SCI security
familiarization and/or experience with NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, NISP/NISPOM, JAFAN, ICD 503, and/or DoD RMF
Active 8570.1M Compliant Certification (e.g., Security+ ce ®, CISSP®) and respective knowledge
Practical knowledge or training in RMF to include performing RMF workflows/activities such as the generation of documentation, controls compliance testing, and continuous monitoring/controls validation activities
Prior experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities leading to Authority to Operate (ATO)
Experience with IT or cybersecurity Continuous Monitoring activities
Experience implementing IT related security controls and defense-in-depth concepts
System vulnerability scanning, auditing, and incident response
IT or IA sustainment and/or operations activities to include configuration and change management
Information Technology (IT) Security or Information Assurance (IA) experience that involves user account management and compliance
Experience or understanding of media accountability and control processes
Experience performing employee indoctrination briefings and general IA training
Proficient with Microsoft ® Applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Fundamental knowledge of IT infrastructure architectures, operating systems, engineering and enterprise applications
Working knowledge of Wide-Area and Local Area Networks (WAN/LAN), switches, firewalls, routers, storage subsystems, virtual infrastructures and cloud-based implementations and services
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
In Lieu of a completed bachelors degree additional experience may be considered
Completed Associates degree + 6 years of relevant experience
High School Diploma + 10 years of relevant experience
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $63,300 to $110,800; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
