The Raytheon Technologies is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer. The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for implementing and supporting traditional bare metal and Cloud based infrastructure design solutions for Raytheon Technologies program areas for state-of-the-art next generation satellite systems. These systems provide global coverage for various customer products, collect, disseminate and process data that will be provided to end customers.
The ideal candidate will join the Raytheon Technologies team and collaborate with other organizations such as Hardware, Software, Systems and Information Assurance to implement best designs and practices. The Infrastructure Engineer will participate in the development of architecture and designs as needed for future generation satellite systems. This position will perform Infrastructure engineering tasks pertaining to the integration and administration of new and existing computer, network, and storage technologies. Individual should possess knowledge and experience with Cloud based computer and storage technologies, services, operations, and associated security practices.
Clearance Requirement: Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) for the US Government.
Specialized skills required for this position:
Experience with deployment and integration of Windows Server (2012, 2016)
Experience with deployment and integration of Windows Desktop (Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows VDA)
Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Ruby, PERL, bash, etc.)
Experience with both Linux and Windows based Platforms at the command line
Experience with common network services such as DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP and troubleshooting
Experience with deployment and integration of enterprise data storage architectures (NAS, SAN) including iSCSI and Fiber Channel technologies
Experience with deployment and integration of Active Directory including Group Policies, PKI, Replication architecture
Experience administering backup infrastructure technologies
Understanding of network technologies and associated services, management, and security practices/techniques
Effective written and oral communication
Ability to work cooperatively with other engineering disciplines
Ability to develop clear and concise documentation
US Citizenship required
Familiarity with TCP, and secure protocols
Experience with hardening baselines such as DISA STIGs or CIS Benchmarks
Experience with Configuration Management
Experience with automation tools / DevOps such as Chef (preferred), Puppet, Ansible, SaltStack, Fabric or similar products for O/S builds, software installation and configuration
Experience with deployment and integration of enterprise virtualization technologies (VMWare ESX/ESXi/vSphere/vCenter)
Experience with Linux System Administration including patch management and hardening
Experience with management of security technologies including Nessus, BigFix
Required Education (including Major):
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 5 years’ experience, a master's degree and 3 years’ experience, or a doctorate and 1 year of experience. Degree must be in a relevant field.

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $70,000 to $150,000 however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
