Raytheon Technologies Senior Systems Integration Engineer II in Aurora, Colorado

The Intelligence and Space Mission Area Systems Engineering Team is looking for Systems and/or Software Integration Engineers to support the M2C2 program. T he candidate will support the accomplishment of engineering tasks in an iterative development environment. The candidate will provide technical direction and clarification of integration activities, including but not limited to software and hardware installation and integration, regression testing as well as software and hardware deployment. Participating in prime/customer meetings, including I&T Strategy Meetings, Integration and Test Readiness as well as Pre-ship Reviews.
Developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with the prime, customer, RTX and peers.
The Integration Engineer attends technical interchange meetings with the team members and other program personnel, and represents the organization in matters pertaining to the development of his/her project, provides status on assigned Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks as required and provides document review and resolves technical systems integration issues. Additionally the integration engineer supports ECP efforts as required. In additional to program efforts the candidate may be asked to support various proposal efforts. This candidate must have the ability to manage time and resources in order to meet assigned deadlines.
Demonstrated engineering experience with a track record of results
Strong understanding of the Systems Engineering development lifecycle and change management process
Experience installing and integrating software (COTS and custom) on Linux/Unix platforms
Proven ability to meet timelines
Trouble-shooting skills for systems comprised of software and hardware
Experience performing regression test activities and Discrepancy Report (DR) verification
Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools
Current active TS/SCI clearance
Systems Integration Engineering experience on a large government software development contract
Experience with complex satellite ground systems, particularly previous deployment of developed systems to ground station operations
Experience with Ground equipment/Radio Frequency (RF) equipment
Experience in integration, and/or verification and validation
Experience in Systems Engineering process development and deployment
Experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
Experience with Automated Test Tools, Cucumber, Gherkin and others
Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software, Systems Engineer and Verification teams
Experience with scripting languages, python, etc.
Qualified Six Sigma Specialist or equivalent
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM Degree Program with 5+ years of relevant experience required (Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering Computer Science, Physics, Math or Applied Science preferred) - OR
Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM Degree Program with 3+ years of relevant experience required (Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering Computer Science, Physics, Math or Applied Science preferred)
