Raytheon Technologies Solution Architect / FEOTB in Aurora, Colorado
Raytheon Technologies Intelligence and Space (RI&S) Engineering is seeking a Front End of the Business (FEOTB) Solution Architect to assist the Technical Director with customers within the Constellation Management & Control (CMC) portfolio. The Solution Architect will support the Technical Director in interacting with Raytheon senior leadership, customers and technical subject matter experts to develop strategic offerings for government customers. The Solution Architect will develop and lead the system architecture efforts for the FEOTB capture team – defining, creating, reviewing, and approving architectural concepts, models and documentation. The Solution Architect is responsible for all aspects of the system architecture to include technology tradeoffs, architecture design and development, maintaining technical roadmaps, and allocation of system functions to architectural elements. The position requires extensive subject matter expertise in applications technologies and the ability to provide actionable guidance to the overall FEOTB capture team.
10+ years demonstrated engineering leadership experience with proven record of accomplishment
Expert level understanding of architecture development, governance, and design principles of SW centric systems, including associated tools
Ability to decompose and communicate system architecture and governance concepts
Experience conducting system architecture in systems that interact with multiple external entities
Experience reviewing the outputs of systems modeling and analysis, ensuring the results can be used for the intended purpose
Ability to determine solutions compliant with system performance, availability and reliability constraints
Technical contributor Proposal / New Business experience
Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team
US Citizen with current TS/SCI security clearance
Satellite planning and scheduling or command and control
Ground equipment command and control Satellite orbital mechanics
Satellite sub-systems and related technologies
Real-time embedded systems/flight software
Satellite RF communications systems (ground and space)
Operations including: procedure development, training, transition planning, installation, and deployment
Complex satellite ground systems, particularly previous deployment of developed systems to ground station operations
Integration, and/or verification and validation
B.S./B.A./M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or a science.

“In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $115,000 to $224,300; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.”
