Raytheon Technologies Spacecraft Control Subsystems IPT Lead in Aurora, Colorado
Raytheon is seeking a Senior Engineer to join and expand our Systems Engineering team as the Spacecraft Control Subsystem (SCS) IPT Lead for the Vail program.
The SCS IPT Lead will be responsible for the IPT’s cost, schedule, and technical performance baseline. The SCS IPT Lead is responsible for ensuring the IPT products come together technically for each delivery. The SCS IPT Lead works closely with program stakeholders, the Systems Team, other integrated product team leads and external interfaces. The SCS IPT Lead is responsible for the IPT’s baseline, requirements, architecture and design, and integration and test activities. As part of this, the SCS IPT Lead is responsible for the definition, documentation, and implementation of IPT level systems engineering, agile and DevOps processes.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $20K for a person with a TS/SCI clearance that can be verified and hired here at Raytheon Intelligence & Space.
Demonstrated experience guiding engineering teams with demonstrated track record
Experience with cost, schedule, and technical performance
Experience providing technical systems or software engineering vision and consistency across an integrated product team
Experience with Agile and DevOps
Experience with command and control processes
Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate with all levels of program, customers, and technical leads (IPTs, chief engineers, architects)
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
Experience with onboarding new work, proposals and BOE development
Experience in systems engineering functions including: TPMs, operations concept development, requirements management, technical risk management, interface definition and control
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of resources
An active an in-scope TS/SCI US security clearance
Experience with satellite data processing and operations domain preferred
Experience guide major milestone reviews
Experience guide across geographical sites, subcontractors, and associate contractor companies
Knowledge of Operations
Education & Experience Requirements:
10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree (STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, preferred); OR
8 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree (STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, preferred)
