The Cyber Engineer will support a dynamic and multidiscipline development team on one of our Government Programs. Responsibilities will span the development and implementation of operational cyber mission systems. The Cyber Engineer will collaborate with other team members to support and implement approaches to fully integrate cyber operations within the mission. This individual will function as an experienced Cyber Engineer offering some guidance to team members and will support systems as an individual contributor. The ideal candidate will have a strong cyber background with in-depth experience and familiarity with full spectrum cyber operations from a mission execution perspective and should be knowledgeable about attack strategies from a cyber-perspective and defensive counter operations. This candidate should have experience with varying network and computer platforms, preferably with some background in cyber operations with respect to embedded platforms. The ideal candidate for this position is innovative; finding ways to do things differently to meet program objectives.
Clearance Requirement: US Citizenship and ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Specialized Skillset required for this position:
Experience with IBM QRadar and Micro Focus ArcSight and the ability to implement, troubleshoot and adapt between the two products.
Experience with security information and event management (SEIM) tools (LogRhythm); able to operate, analyze and act upon resultant data products.
Tenable Nessus experience including administration and troubleshooting.
Minimum of 6 years of related work experience
Must be a self-starter capable of multitasking and efficiently managing your time in a dynamic environment while requiring minimal levels of supervision
Experience with NIST 800-53 Security Controls
McAfee ePO/Symantec Enterprise experience including installation, troubleshooting and administration.
Excellent understanding of security design and architecture with ability to develop solutions to moderately complex IS compliance and security problems
Demonstrated experience performing vulnerability assessment/remediation including the coordination or performance of patch/configuration deployments across multiple platforms
Excellent written & oral communication skills, including presentation skills
Experience planning, scheduling, and executing Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities, including the development of System Security Plans (SSP) and other supporting documentation (SP800-57, ICD503 preferred)
US Citizenship and able to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance
Industry Certification: Security + or higher
Experience with Agile, Scrum, HW and SW life-cycle management, & engineering change proposal processes
IBM BigFix Administration experience including fixlet creation, troubleshooting and deployment.
COTS and FOSS patch management/deployment experience
Experience with highly ‘matrixed’ organizations
Ability to establish tasks and objectives with Lead Engineers and ensure the entire team understands and can work towards the vision and objectives
Previous experience in Verification, Validation and Accreditation
Experience in proactively analyzing and resolving problems relating to operational considerations, engineering drawings and associated hardware in relation to repair activities
Hands-on technical experience as an individual contributor with documented skills and experience in one or more of the following areas:
Linux system administration
Windows system administration
Network component administration
Operating system hardening
Incident Response/Threat Hunting
Vulnerability Identification and Remediation
Bachelors degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline.

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $86,500 to $160,000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
