Raytheon Technologies Sr Security Analyst in Aurora, Colorado

As an Industrial Security Specialist, this team member will provide oversight of COMSEC activities as the COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO) and act as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) for the Raytheon Aurora site. The candidate for this position is expected to operate and care for the local COMSEC account. Daily duties include, but are not limited to: handling, receiving, controlling, storing, inventorying, transferring, packaging, shipping, tracking and destroying of material and equipment in accordance with government directives and procedures. The candidate for this position will conduct self-inspections, periodic audits to ensure accuracy of documentation, safe, and equipment and send written reports to the Customer. The selected candidate for this position will be responsible for couriering activities, receipt and dispatch of all classified documents and media entering or exiting the campus. The team member for this position will investigate security incidents and prepare written reports. On occasions, applicant will need to provide after-hours support to the mission.

Acting as CPSO, you will be required to guide and coordinate security for Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI) with limited supervision. You will also be required to understand, interpret and enforce government directives and company security policies, providing direction and guidance to employees and visitors. This position requires attention to detail with dealing with prime contractors and government customers, problem solving and organizational skills in an ever changing, very fast paced environment. The CPSO will interface with administration and maintain a liaison with prime and government customers, to include Government Program Security Officers (GPSO) as well as providing subcontractor security support as needed. The CPSO will author, edit, and submit Standard Operating Procedures, Operation Security Instructions, Program Protection Plans, Transportation and Security Education Plans based on government guidance. Position requires an Understanding of all Security Classification Guides for numerous programs providing guidance to employees. Participate daily in agile Security Awareness/Education Program, regularly participate in program meetings, Security and Program Staff meetings, Program Administration Reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings, Critical Design Review, Government and Contractor Security Working Groups in support of IC programs.

The position is a customer service-oriented position and the applicant must possess excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to make sound decisions and take self-guided action to meet or exceed the expectations of customers and visitors. Applicant must be able to work in a adaptable multi-faceted environment. Candidate must display a professional demeanor and demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral communications.

Required Skills:

• Must be a US citizen with a Top Secret clearance and SCI access

• At least 2 years of directly related experience

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Provide Security Indoctrinations, Refresher Briefings and unique specialized briefings

• Must be able to multitask and prioritize within a very fast business environment

• Knowledgeable of Sensitive Compartmented Information Programs

• Must have a professional demeanor

• Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

• Organizational and time-management skills – Well organized with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks daily, and quickly and effectively reprioritize tasks when required, with extensive attention to detail

• Commitment to excellence, creating and delivering the highest value to customers (internal and external)

Desired Skills:

• COMSEC Responsible Officer experience

Required Education (including Major):

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay For Work Act, the salary range for this role is $55,500 to $114,500; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and responsibilities, a candidates work experience, education/training, key skills, and peer reviews.
