Raytheon Technologies Senior Principal Engineer / Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer in Boston, Massachusetts

Raytheon Intelligence & Space is looking for senior Analog/Mixed-Signal IC designers for our new Nashua Design Center. This position is open for telecommuting from any location for motivated self driven applicants.

Candidate will be responsible for design, analysis, simulation, and integration of analog/mixed-signal circuits, such as high-speed data converters, PLLs, multi-gigahertz clock generators, and precision op-amps. Must have prior experience as a lead designer for complex circuits as evidenced by previous successful work experience, publications, and/or patents. Chip lead experience is highly desired. Candidate must have a strong background working in various CMOS technology nodes including bulk, SOI, and SiGe BiCMOS. Design experience in sub-28nm advanced CMOS nodes is highly desired.

The candidate must be capable of functioning in multi-disciplined design teams across multiple projects. Must be an advocate of systematic design processes and verification methodologies to insure design compliance. Experience as a chip lead is a plus. The candidate is expected to work well on their own with minimal direction. Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent problem solving, written and verbal communication skills, organization skills.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in Analog/Mixed-Signal IC design with substantial time as a technical lead

  • In-depth knowledge of analog/mixed-signal design techniques including low-noise, high-linearity, and low-voltage/low-power design

  • Deep understanding in design, analysis, and simulation of ADCs, DACs, PLLs, filters, high-speed digital logic, amplifiers, and bias circuits

  • Knowledge of VerilogA/VerilogAMS language to create circuit models for chip-level simulations

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

    Required Education:

    BS with 10+ years of experience, MS with 8+ years of experience, or PhD with 6+ years of experience.

    Degree in EE/CE or related STEM degree

    Preferred Education:

    MS or PhD

    The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
