Raytheon Technologies Sr Financial Analyst or Principal Financial Analyst- Remote in Boston, Massachusetts

This position can be either Sr.

Financial Analyst

or a Principal

Financial Analyst based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

This position also allows for remote work.

The Raytheon Missile Defense Operations, Supply Chain, Quality (OSQ) organization has an immediate opening for a Principal Financial Analyst within its Supply Chain finance organization.

This position allows for remote work.

The team supports the Supply Chain organization in its material forecasting, overhead management, staffing analysis, and financial reviews.

The organization is a dynamic environment that affords its team members the opportunity to see the business from a top-down perspective while balancing the demands of accurate & integrated forecasting and managing risks and opportunities as they pertain to material financial metrics.

In addition, staffing analysis encompassing charging, historical metrics, and forecasting are an additional opportunity.

They organization is a key partner to multiple organizations in providing accurate financial forecasts and analysis related to Supply Chain.

Candidates will have the opportunity to work with many levels of management and various functional organizations.

The individual will be challenged to help identify, develop, and implement streamlined, consistent and reliable processes, procedures, and reporting in a changing and growing organization.

Scope of the position includes supporting training team and key stakeholders.

The position requires that the candidate be self-motivated with a desire for data analysis and offer conclusions and recommendations.

An ability to adeptly navigate APEX (SAP), Business Warehouse (BW) or Analysis for Office (AO), PRISM is a plus.

Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills are expected.

Some of the primary role responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Weekly and monthly analysis, research and reporting to the Supply Chain Vice President and Directors on recurring and ad hoc requests

Staffing analysis and related ad hoc reporting requirements

Provide conclusions and recommendation regarding related material and staffing analysis

Support consolidation and streamlining of procedures and reporting

Actively facilitate meetings driving alignment, closure on actions, and understanding of issues

Supporting other team members in technical and analytical financial growth

Identify, support and implement process improvements

Provide cost reduction ideas and project support

Minimum Required Skills:


degree in the field of Business, Finance, Management, Economics, Math or a directly related field and


years of progressively increased experience and responsibility in a field of business, finance, or management. Or a Master degree plus 2 years of experience in a field of business, finance, or management.

Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, graphing, etc.)

Highly Desired Skills:

Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and readily apply solutions and process improvements

Experience preparing presentation packages for executive level review

Strong focus on process improvement and advanced problem solving skills.

Experience in transforming customer requests from data to information.

Ability to lead other analysts in a results oriented environment to develop solutions for complex problems that will gain desired outcomes.

Prior experience in FP&A concepts, related systems, and processes

Ability to teach advanced financial and planning skills to financial analysts.

Understand cost accumulation methods for direct labor including discrete charging and allocation pool charging.

Experience with APEX (SAP) and Business Warehouse (BW) and Analysis for Office, and PRISM Ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership

EAC development experience
