We have an amazing Opportunity right now as an assembler for our plant in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
Highly cross functional team member working on testing of all PWC engines. Work scope will consist of pre-dressing, testing and post-dressing all engines. Team members will also be required to support other Assembly functions in the overhaul process as required to include packing. Test Mechanics must ensure compliance with FAA regulations, established policies and procedures, ISO 9001, engine manuals and customer requirements. Team members will utilize the ACE Tools on a daily basis to implement process improvements within the department and will use the departments key KPI’s to measure the team’s performance and progression.
Candidates must have demonstrated ability to work in a small group as a motivated team member and have the willingness to learn new tasks to develop a fully cross functional team. Members must have multi-tasking capability and strong communication with other team members. Team members must have a positive attitude toward a changing work environment and are committed to achieving the success and goals of their team.
Must possess Powerplant License or previously held the position.
High school education or GED
2+ years specialized training in maintenance, assembly or test of gas turbine engines or similar aircraft systems.
Prior experience working on Turbofan engines.
Knowledge of aircraft engine assembly procedures including fits and tolerances, use of precision measuring instruments and gauges, hand tools, special assembly equipment and the ability to work from complicated drawings and specifications.
