This position supervises a large team of hourly employees in Quality Inspection.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily activities of Quality Inspectors to ensure adherence to established department, organization, and customer specification parameters

  • Interface with internal customers to determine needed resources and assist in developing inspection plans to balance workloads and ensure effective use of resources

  • Assist in establishing inspection procedures to ensure quality standards are met

  • Coordinate training of inspectors to ensure that their skills and performance meet organizational needs

  • Ensure the inspectors have the necessary tools to perform their tasks effectively and efficiency

  • Interface with multiple functions to bring inspection issues to resolution

  • Ensure Quality values are maintained in a fast-paced environment

  • Utilize applicable databases to track and maintain up-to-date inspection training

  • Identify inspection process deficiencies and drive Inspection Standard Work and efficiency

  • Maintain applicable Quality Management System documents for Inspection

  • Provide routine Inspection feedback and perform Annual Reviews

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

  • STEM degree preferred

  • Clear, concise, and effective communicator

  • Experience working with all levels of management

  • Proven track record in team leadership roles in a quality manufacturing setting

  • Highly self-directed, quick learner, strong drive and results driven

  • Experience with Continuous Improvement principles (lean manufacturing, ACE, QCPC, etc.)

  • Proficiency in SAP
