Raytheon Technologies Principal Financial Analyst in Cambridge, Massachusetts

This is an opportunity to join the BBN Technologies Finance team in support of the Physical Sciences and Systems (PS2) Business Unit which is a fast growing business unit with $70M in sales and a portfolio of innovative programs bringing advanced solutions to our customers.

The BBN Finance team is a diverse group of individuals with a robust mix of skills and experiences collaborating across the organization to influence optimal business decisions and achieve predictable results. The selected candidate will be accountable for providing financial leadership to the execution and continued growth of PS2.


Coordinate the execution of the monthly sales forecast process, development of annual operating plans and development of the five year strategic plan

Apply your financial and analytical skills in an energetic and fast-paced environment

Exciting opportunity to be a strategic business advisor who will work with business leaders and many functions within the organization to execute and assess performance against their business strategy

Knowledge of various Cost-type, Fixed Price, and T&M contracts utilizing Raytheon

financial systems

Provide effective communication of key financial metrics and development of estimates at complete (EAC),

Provide Timely & Accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and forecasting to PS2 & BBN Leadership

Required Skills:

SAP Experience (APEX, PRISM, BW)

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

Professional experience with Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)

6+ years of experience or equivalent skill

US citizenship

Ability to meet critical deadlines

Independent, proactive and self-motivated

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced work environment

Exhibit a leadership quality that entails facilitation, collaboration, and influential communication

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

Working knowledge of EVMS

Willingness to apply for US government security clearance

Prior experience working in a government contracting environment.

Required Education (including Major):

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field of study
