An Opportunity is now available for a Finance Planning & Analysis Manager who wants to be part of something big. The Finance Planning & Analysis Manager is responsible for coordination, preparation, reporting and provision of accurate and concise analysis of the company’s budgets and forecasts. The role coordinates the development of the company’s five year financial plans and annual operating plans, monthly financial reports and summaries, consolidation and explanation of monthly and year-to-date variances and insightful analysis of drivers of performance.
Production and analysis of monthly management reporting summaries for the company (monthly financial reports, US results file, monthly operations review packs, Leadership Team finance reports, and functional overhead reports).
Prepare financial metrics and analysis for management reviews and analysis of financial performance of company business including forecasting and analysis of full year forecast against the budget and prior period.
Lead the presentation of insight and analysis during presentations and discussions with senior company leaders on financial results.
Meet reporting deadlines monthly / quarterly / annually in accordance with the finance calendar.
Process enhancements by effectively leveraging the potential of core financial systems.
Lead the development of the Five Year Financial Plan and Annual Operating Plan and support the development of functional overhead budgets and rates.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Requires a University Degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent experience with a Professional qualification, e.g. CPA, CA, or equivalent.
Minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience with advanced knowledge and skills specifically within financial analysis with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organisation.
Experience managing a team with a focus on policy and strategy implementation.
Experience establishing operational plans with a measurable contribution towards the achievement of results of the Function / Product Line.
Experience managing a small to mid-sized team consisting of experienced professionals and leading, directing and reviewing the work of a team who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
Ability to provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees across the organisation.
