As a Senior Accountant within the General Accounting General Ledger team, this project-based role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and communications skills to develop new processes and procedures to support a variety of projects.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Routinely work in multiple accounting and consolidation systems including SAP, JD Edwards, and Hyperion.

  • Submit and approve journal entries completed by General Ledger team in Agile Point tool

  • Complete and approve account reconciliations in Account Reconciliation Management Tool

  • Complete monthly derivative entries and reconciliations in HFM

  • Complete Concur and payroll entries in JD Edwards System to support Interior Systems business unit

  • HFM entries and revaluation processes required during closing process

A successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Strong interpersonal and team work

  • Project management

  • Strong organizational and time management

  • Communication both oral and written

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and 5 years of relevant experience OR

  • Advance Degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is Required

  • Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General Understanding of Collins Aerospace Accounting processes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • SAP, JD Edwards and HFM Experience

  • CPA or MBA
