Collins Aerospace Business Architecture team is dedicated to enabling world class business system solutions leveraging SAP and related information technology solutions. Digital Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Supply Chain Architect to be a part of the Enterprise Architecture team. We are seeking individuals with strong Supply Chain background that can provide technology and architectural leadership, strategic direction and long-term vision that supports the overall business goals. This individual will be 100% remote.
Make recommendations on strategic direction and roadmap for the use and implementation of SAP applications, as well as integrated third-party systems, aligned with business strategies
Development of mid to long term business capability roadmaps highlighting key business outcomes that will be enabled
Evangelize the future/to-be Supply Chain tech stack with business and digital stakeholders
Transform business strategy, needs and key outcomes into high level architectural deliverables (Whitepapers, Reference Architectures, Design Approach Reviews etc.)
Advocate and enforce applicable standards, policies, procedures, and SAP best practices adoption and use
Lead and facilitate cross functional solution design discussions with business stakeholders, technology service owners, business analysts and developers
Participate in business, data, application, and infrastructure planning, providing insight into future of technology footprint within Supply Chain
Evaluate new technologies and create proposals for their adoption based on business goals, benefits, and risks
Ensure stability and scalability of Supply Chain solutions and its cross functional integration
Champion continuous improvement, driving inefficiencies out of implemented processes and solutions
Perform site assessment and provide recommendations for improvements
Mentor junior architects and analysts to develop a deep talent pool
Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be available to travel less than 10%
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
10 – 15+ years of SAP full cycle implementation enterprise experience
Business process expertise in the Source to Pay value stream
Cross functional understanding of business processes, specifically in the areas of Planning, Procurement, Quality, manufacturing, logistics and finance
Technical/functional experience with SAP Materials Management and Production Planning modules
Deep knowledge and understanding of SAP products as well as core business processes and industry best practices
Experience in S/4 HANA, Ariba, EWM and IBP/Kinaxis is highly desirable
Experience developing SAP architecture to meet business requirements in complex environments
Strong leadership skills, with ability to interface with business and DT executives
Ability to present and discuss strategies that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences
Proven track record as an architect, crafting new solutions and delivering business outcomes
Demonstrates experience of delivering business process change
Ability to manage customer expectations, resource fluctuations, constantly changing priorities, and delays in deliverables, etc.
Working knowledge of integration between MM/PP and other modules (SD/LE, FI-CO, QM etc.)
Completed at least one full cycle implementation of Ariba
Relevant SAP and enterprise architecture certifications such as TOGAF, SAP Activate, IASA
Certified in APICS CSCP
