Raytheon Technologies IT Asset Management Specialist II in Chantilly, Virginia
This position will support an enterprise Information Technology O&M program filling a position at a customer location in Chantilly, VA.
The IT Asset Management Specialist duties will include receiving, shipping, property disposition, and inventory/asset management control of government and contractor materials and hardware/software components.
The IT Asset Management Specialist may interface with computer security to coordinate the sterilization of hardware and software scheduled for retirement, and process hardware retirement through the prescribed program processes.
The IT Asset Management Specialist will utilize various software packages and customer databases during the routine completion of tasks.
The IT Asset Management Specialist may be required to drive trucks and use forklifts.
When necessary the IT Asset Management Specialist will be required to trace and locate lost goods.
At all times the IT Asset Management Specialist must be vigilant of security issues due to their frequent contact with un-cleared vendors.
Basic Qualifications - Required Skills, Experience:
•Requires a bachelors' degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or related hard science subject •Minimum 4 years’ experience shipping and receiving material •Prior experience with property audits (internal/external), inventory methods, and Lost, Damaged, or Destroyed (LDD) reporting •Prior experience with the management of Government Furnished Property (GFP), Contractor Acquired Property (CAP), or Contractor Furnished Property (CFP) •Minimum 4 years’ experience with MS Office applications •Must be capable of lifting to the waist and carrying 50lbs • Requires a current and active TS/SCI SSBI security clearance
•Prior experience with the management of or usage of Maintenance Agreements or Vendor Returns
Required Education (including major):
Requires a bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or related hard science subject, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
