Raytheon Technologies Associate Director: Productivity, Labor Standards and Continuous Improvement in Charlotte, North Carolina

Lead Productivity, YoY Labor Standards Reduction, and Continuous Improvement for Collins Aerospace Global Operations sites using Kaizen, LEAN, and Labor Productivity tools.

This individual can sit at any Collins Aerospace domestic location or remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implements and supports a process of Continuous Improvement to achieve highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction at competitive costs.

  • Leads the annual labor standard setting process, productivity improvement projects, and cost reduction efforts across 7 global manufacturing sites to increase cost competitiveness.

  • Analyzes monthly leading and lagging performance metrics and recommends process changes to ensure that organization objectives in the areas of quality, delivery, cost, and productivity are on plan.

  • Leads Bi-Weekly Site Productivity Reviews, providing coaching and course correction where applicable to meet or exceed current year Standard Cost reduction targets.

  • Leads the Global Operations Cost Reduction Strategies for both the Labor and Indirect/Non-Product elements of the cost portfolio.

  • Serves as the primary Cost Reduction Single Point of Contact with Collins Business Unit partners.

  • Leads Kaizen Events in the areas of Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Mapping, and Productivity Improvements Kaizens (Resulting in Standard Work, Standard Work Sheets, and Standard Work Combination Sheets).

  • Develops and presents Continuous Improvement Executive-level presentations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience. In absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be willing and able to travel 50% of the time (domestic & international)

  • 3 + years experience with Labor Standards, LEAN and advanced problem-solving tools.

  • Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization

  • 3+ years of prior experience analyzing and improving manufacturing and labor costs

  • Ability to operate independently, and actively seek guidance and feedback
