This individual will lead all facility operations for the Collins Aerospace corporate headquarters in the areas of facilities, security, and environmental health and safety.
Support all Collins executive leadership team through EHS and security program implementation. Routinely work with executive leaders to educate and ensure adherence to company protocols.
Supervise three facility technicians and five contract staff. Contract staff include Securitas security personnel, onsite café team, and personal training staff.
Manage the CLT facility budget and cost center for the Charlotte facility. This includes invoice processing, eCAR, SAP management, and Purchase order submittals.
Primary coordinator for VIP visits, administratively support senior leadership and consolidate/coordinate GM Staff Presentation.
Carry out onboarding coordination for all new hires including education on all facility, EHS, and security components of the CLT site.
Coordinate space allocation and planning for all CLT organizations.
Oversee active construction and project management throughout headquarters location. Facilitating cross departmental initiatives to improve relations with all onsite employees as well as generate an avenue to educate/ inform employees on EHS policy awareness.
Manage all CLT leases and rent agreements with building owners and with RTX real estate. Keeping site in good standing with payments and ensure appropriate response time to building owner supported building fixes.
Maintain and support the CLT HQ sharepoint site as necessary.
Manage corporate relationships with the Spectrum center (Charlotte Hornets) events and with the Carolina Panthers. Both for Senior executive team customer opportunities and for employee welfare improvement opportunities.
Lead EHS program implementation and EHS Smart support at seven global corporate Collins’s locations including: Charlotte, NC/ Shanghai, CN/ Cork, IRL/ Rome, ITL/ Memphis, TN/ Arlington, VA/ Shirley, UK.
Current wellness champion for CLT implementing effective wellness activities for onsite staff. Efforts have led to onsite vaccination clinics, onsite gym upgrades, and ensuring the availability of healthy eating options through onsite café.
Support full implementation of EHS Smart and Emerge tools for compliance tracking and incident reporting.
Lead emergency operation planning for CLT facility. Effectively preparing employees and providing appropriate pre-planning documentation in case of real-life emergencies (fire, active threat, natural weather emergencies).
Provide ergonomic support for all employees onsite both through education and through access of specific ergonomic equipment.
Effectively investigate and report any injury and/or near misses within EHS to prevent further incidences and reduce risk for all employees.
Establish onsite flu/ vaccine clinics to provide and promote employee health and wellness.
Led security system upgrade implementation for Charlotte and ensure compliance with global security requirements.
Badge and Visitor Management - Process Design, Champion, Audits and Primary Liaison with Global Security Services.
Support all alarm/ security system upgrades, outages, and ensure continued operation of the system 24/7.
Manage all onsite Individual Control Plans and maintain an active relationship with Global Trade to meet all required compliance and adherence to company policy.
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience. In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time (domestic & international)
5+ years of prior EH&S experience
