The Learning and Development (L&D) Partner will have a critical role defining and executing strategic learning and development talent initiatives in support of business priorities. The L&D Partner collaborates with the RTX Corporate L&D team and implements Collins Aerospace wide learning strategies and programs by influencing stakeholders at various levels. Success in this role will require navigating opposing viewpoints and organizational ambiguity, in a highly matrixed organization, while creating learning and development strategies focused on key business outcomes.

Reports To: VP Talent, Collins AerospacePrimary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Raytheon Technologies corporate L&D team to ensure Collins’ representation in enterprise L&D activities, to ensure effective implementation within Collins

  • Provide dedicated change management support for upcoming Learning & Development changes and RTX harmonization activities

  • Develop and deploy Collins’ learning strategy in alignment with RTX and in partnership with Collins HR considering specific business needs for an integrated learning ecosystem

  • Create a Collins’ career development narrative to effectively highlight and implement development model, tools, and resources available with a specific focus on leader development

  • In alignment with the HR Operating Model, support HR Business Partners in understanding and implementing learning strategies

  • Identify unique Collins’ wide skill gaps and future competencies needed. Develop associated curriculum and deployment vehicles.

  • Represent Collins on RTX development council

  • Serve as the key subject matter expert and provide consulting to HR and business leaders for learning and development solutions

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 14 years of prior relevant experience OR

  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 18 years of relevant experience is Required

  • Must be a US Person/ Permanent Resident 'Green Card' hold

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Learning & Development Strategy and Execution experience

  • Strong experience working with senior leadership to communicate and implement HR programs to support the business goals.

  • Proven success in managing strategic projects and initiatives, demonstrating cross-functional leadership to achieve measurable results.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong teaming orientation and high adaptability.

  • Polished written and oral communication skills with experience in packaging and presenting recommendations to senior leadership that are aligned with strategic direction.

  • Strong expertise using MS Excel, PowerPoint to analyze and present complex data and information, and quickly adapts to new technologies.

  • Manage and prioritize competing priorities

  • Build relationships and effectively collaborate across businesses and HR departments.

  • Possess the ability to educate, persuade and influence

  • Experience managing varying levels of stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization
