We are seeking a highly motivated Product Strategist to join our Digital Technology team. Our team is focused on delivering a portfolio of enterprise digital services that provide re-usable capabilities for teams to more rapidly create and implement digital solutions that are modern, secure, consistent and scalable.

You will have the opportunity to directly impact the next generation of Collins digital products and services. As a product strategist, your main objective will be to help the organization understand unmet needs of our enterprise users, quantify their value and develop strategies to maximize the impact re-usable technology can have across the enterprise.

In close partnership with our UX Research & Service Design teams, you will conduct research, analyze data and prepare polished and easy to understand recommendations for executive leadership on where to invest, how increase service adoption and improve the experience for our internal and external customers. You’ll play a key role in service design, addressing pain points with existing service delivery and identifying new and innovative ways to support our users at scale.

In addition, you’ll be responsible for coordinating with multiple product managers and service owners from infrastructure, security, data and applications to ensure roadmaps are aligned to deliver high priority use cases and advocate on behalf of our users for the best possible experience.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Product Management, the successful candidate will be highly collaborative, technically savvy, and passionate about delivering impactful user experiences to customers.  This individual can sit at any Collins Aerospace domestic location or remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess the current state, exploring pain points and strengths of existing service delivery methods and recommend changes to improve the experience and increase adoption

  • Develop a playbook for Enterprise Service Delivery that drives consistency and allows teams to be self-sufficient in rolling out new services

  • Facilitate roadmap coordination across multiple product teams

  • Drive excellence in service and product delivery by coaching and mentoring teams with best practices and always advocate for the user

  • Leverage industry, market and technology trends to inform product definition and share with working teams and business units

  • Define and clearly communicate product roadmaps, KPIs, and measures of product success to stakeholders

  • Support product innovation by analyzing usage metrics and continuously improving upon the user experience and product releases

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.

  • Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time.

  • Familiarity with Agile software delivery practices and expectations.

  • Demonstrated experience with data driven decision making, including competence with market intelligence, competitive assessment, revenue analysis, and usage metrics.

  • Demonstrated capability to make timely prioritization decisions to ensure projects meet critical business needs and timelines

  • Demonstrated experience in full product lifecycle management, from concept, to market identification/validation, product definition, development, market release, and adoption.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to influence multi-disciplinary teams and develop strong partnerships across functions to drive measurable operational results.

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively at all levels within the company

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment with high degree of autonomy and accountability.

  • Ideal candidate is a collaborative, detail oriented, reliable individual who strives to deliver the highest quality products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with design thinking, aerospace, and/or data science products a plus.

  • Experience with Service Design strongly desired

  • Experience working in an enterprise technology organization preferred

  • Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, or Other cloud offerings a plus.
