Raytheon Technologies is seeking a front-line supervisor, who will report directly to the Depot Operations Manager. Key tasks include: Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in "core skill" areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.
Directs the day-to-day planning, executing, and controlling of resources (people, material, processes, technology, equipment, etc.) required to produce/repair products or services with MDO work content.
Ensures department performance aligns with business metrics and implements corrective actions as needed.
Responsible for depot repair efforts being performed in assigned department. Ensures repairable assets are properly managed through the depot repair process from receipt to shipping.
Supports and drives continuous improvements to improve operations, paying particular attention to employee safety, morale, communication assurance and functional teaming.
Responsible for facilitating ensuring teaming relationships with internal and external customers. Ensures accurate and timely communication between MDO and the support teams.
Ensures that the needed resources, tools and training are provided and to MDO personnel.
Initiates disciplinary actions in consultation with HR and MDO leadership and performs individual performance evaluations as required.
Two years of applicable experience ideally with a government contractor environment, similar to Raytheon Technologies
Must be a US Citizen with current/active or ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Proven ability to successfully lead and/or manage people ideally in a manufacturing or electrical/mechanical repair depot
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a particular emphasis on Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning software

Previous experience working for a Gov't Contractor in a repair depot environment
Required Education (including Major):
Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or similar applicable degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, (Bachelor Degree = 8 years of additional, applicable experience).
