This position is for a Sr. Analyst, Procurement professional. This individual carries out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFQs, negotiation preparations, price analysis, purchase order placement, and maintains the supplier relationship. This individual also responds to inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.
This individual can sit at any Collins Aerospace domestic location or remote.
Carries out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFQs, negotiations, price analysis, and purchase order placement
Responds to inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction
Carries out activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services to ensure terms are in the organization’s best interest
Prepares purchase orders and negotiates prices to ensure on-time placement of orders to support customer demand
Prepares request for quotation (RFQ) and competes requirements to ensure fair and reasonable pricing is demonstrated
Monitors supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations including on time delivery
Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries
Responsible for all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within a commodity
Directs and manages all schedules, and purchase orders for given portfolio of suppliers
Ensures product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and at the right cost
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time
