Collins Aerospace is looking for a

Finance Government Compliance Manager

with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise in government accounting. You will be a key member of a newly formed, highly impactful team that develops strategic plans to assure compliance with

Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS),

Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement


DFA RS) . You will serve as a strategic partner Subject Matter Expert (SME) to Collins business units and help improve critical areas of the business through data driven projects and analysis. In addition, you will need to have strong accounting, data analytics, communications and presentation skills.

Position is currently remote, but will be required to work onsite when circumstance permit

Primary Responsibilities

Assist in ensuring compliance to Government contract requirements (training, reporting, procurement integrity, pricing integrity and auditing requirements).

Implement company policies and procedures to assure compliance with FAR, CAS and DFARS, as well as contractual terms and conditions.

Remain abreast of compliance requirements or changes that impact Government reporting and monitoring requirements.

Provide guidance on issues of compliance with government rules, regulation and oversight.

Assess information received from government contracting agencies and regulators and disseminate to impacted personnel.

Serve as point of contact for all Government audit and contract issues and correspondence.

Provide administrative support as necessary, including drafting correspondence, online research, and file organization to the Government business team.

Basic Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related discipline and 5 years of relevant experience


Advance degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related disciplines and 3 years of relevant experience


In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required


Experience in U.S. Government Contracting for commercial products.

Detailed knowledge of key requirements, practices, and terms and conditions relating to the sale of products paid for by the Government including: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Supplement to the FAR such as VA, DoD, GSA, etc.

Experience communicating and presenting to senior and executive level leadership

MS Office experience, Excel pivot tables, macros etc.

Able to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally (when current environment permits)

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

Active CPA or CMA license

Familiarity with the Aerospace industry

SAP and HFM knowledge
