Collins Aerospace is looking for a Project Lead that will support the Airbus Program Management Office on an in-production and in-service program. You will be accountable for cost, schedule, performance and on time delivery and serves as the interface between the organization and the customer. You will also focus on implementation and management of initiatives that drive producibility, quality, and cost improvements, while also providing support for sustaining operations and supply chain.
Position is currently working remotely. Will need to work onsite in a hybrid capacity when circumstances permit 2022.
Work under the direction of the Program Manager with limited oversight.
Develop, track and report on multi-disciplinary project plans (including schedule and cost).
Identify and escalate risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact to business performance and ensure commitments to the customer are met
Communicate and coordinate with cross functional teams and internal and external stakeholders
Participate in Continuous Improvement activity for both operations and business processes
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience OR
In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
Project Management lead experience working in cross functional teams
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Able to communicate and make presentations to senior level leadership
Able to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally when circumstances permit.
Continuous Improvement experience-Lean, Six Sigma, ACE or equivalent
Aerospace industry experience
Nacelle system experience
