Collins Aerospace is looking for a Quality Compliance Specialist who will execute the key elements of Quality Compliance operational plans and lead quality compliance projects. In addition, you will be a key member in implementing the changes and processes that will ensure continued Quality Compliance. You will also have direct communication and interaction with senior leadership at various levels and locations.

Position is currently working remote, when circumstances permit may go to hybrid

Primary Responsibilities

  • Learn ASG Level Quality Procedures (EEP's)

  • Responsible for Controlled Forms Management function

  • Learn Approved Supplier Listing, Authorization to release process (DSQR), and Supplier Special Process approvals

  • Responsible for managing Quality Audit program for suppliers

  • Responsible for reviewing procedures and metrics that impact quality throughout the organization, ensuring compliance with internal standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR

  • Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required

  • Experience working in a quality environment.

  • Experience with AS9100/AS9110 and Nadcap certifications

  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)

  • Experience working with suppliers

  • Experience with an ERP system

  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Tools

  • Able to manage multiple projects & deliverables simultaneously.

  • Able to communicate and make presentations to internal/external senior level leadership.

  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time domestically and internationally (when current circumstances permit).

  • MS PowerPoint, create presentations.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Aerospace Industry experience

  • Experience with SAP

  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or ACE

  • Experience with AS9100/AS9110

  • NADCAP certification experience
