Are you ready to go beyond?
This individual will be responsible for developing, designing, programming and implementing new automation techniques for the atomization and screening of Nickel based alloys. The person will be responsible for electrical schematic designs, specifications of sensors, PLC’s, motors, actuators and valving used to produce next generation products. They will also be responsible for executing these processes for low volume production efforts. Once processes are developed the candidate will develop work instructions and process documentation to ensure that production and maintenance personnel can operate the system.
• Develop programs for PLC, and motion systems • Develop electrical concepts and designs • Estimate labor and hardware costs for new equipment builds• Write technical specifications for new machinery• Create and modify 2D ACAD electrical schematics • Assist with equipment manufacturing startup and trouble shooting
The ideal candidate would be an engineer with;
• Demonstrated PLC programming proficiency, Allen-Bradley experience is preferred• Demonstrated ability to create new programs• Proficiency in electrical design and assembly• Ability to assemble and trouble shoot electro-mechanical systems
Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have practical knowledge of project management.
Practical to substantial knowledge of UTC projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
