Pratt & Whitney’s Mature Commercial Engines Transactional Aftermarket Organization, Commercial Serviceable Assets team “CSA”, is seeking to hire an Engine Programs Specialist (GTF/V2500) in its Remote/EH/Dallas location. This position will report into a Program Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for working with both domestic and international engine centers in routing Gear Turbo Fan (“GTF”) material back to CSA for storage. The selected candidate will lead efforts to coordinate issuance of purchase orders to the respective engine center and drive closure of past due material while reducing the quantity of open purchase orders in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve Non-Incident Statements from data base for approval and issue Purchase Order requests.

  • Track air, ground and sea freight shipments from Engine Centers to CSA, Dallas location.

  • Work with Engine Centers to ensure proper paperwork is received; this includes becoming generally familiar with FAA requirements for 8130, Tags, Total Time, Total Cycles and more.

  • GTF/V2500 monthly metric reporting, this includes gathering internal data from multiple resources and working with the Product Managers to assemble cohesive reports to track trends month over month

  • GTF/V2500 rotable exchange reporting and tracking

  • Updating the GTF/V2500 used parts approval matrix

  • Develop, implement and improve SOP’s into One Aero for tracking material requests.

  • Participate in any other duties and responsibilities as may be occasionally be assigned to grow and support the company’s success.

  • Work cohesively with all CSA departments, Inventory, Sales, Quality, and Finance

  • Engine Stand Coordination with an internal cross functional team and the Engine Stand Storage facility

  • Interfacings with supplies to coordinate Accessories support and exchange requests

  • General Support for the Pratt & Whitney Engine Leasing team for Accessories, sending parts to WIP for repair etc.

  • Leading process improvement opportunities using ACE, Six Sigma or other Quality System.

  • Entrepreneurial: Thinks of new ways of operating or developing new metrics to measure the department, seeks out new ways of looking at the same problem to identify and implement new/unique solutions.

  • This role requires strong written and verbal skills.

  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast paced environment where priorities are constantly changing and ambiguity is common.

  • Flexibility: this role may from time to time require early morning or late evening phone calls to support international Engine Centers

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required- Supply Chain or other relevant business degrees considered

  • Master's degree a plus

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Business related field or Technical required.

  • At least 3 years of proficiency in Excel, Power point is required

  • US Citizenship is required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • This position will require industry knowledge of SAP, engine parts, and some program management knowledge.
