This position is for an established facilities professional. Gathers and analyzes data, implements new or modified plans and conducts other varied facilities tasks. Responsible for modifications to procedures to enhance Facilities team performance.
Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications and organization or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility to ensure consistency in the documentation of the relevant records.
Provides coverage for all shifts either in person or virtually to implement new or modified plans in response to delays, bad weather, or site emergencies.Inspects and reviews projects to evaluate compliance with building and safety codes, or other regulations.
Monitors building security and safety and recommends improvements to security procedures and protocols to ensure a safe workplace.Participates in prebuilding assessments, such as conceptual cost estimating, rough order of magnitude estimating, feasibility, energy efficiency, environmental, and sustainability assessments.
Participates in planning and scheduling facilities maintenance and repair activities to ensure proper functioning of facilities utilizing an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
Plans, designs, and reconfigures equipment, machinery, buildings, and structures to ensure the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities.
Assesses and evaluates the physical space requirements of the organization and oversight of plans to meet needs.
Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance via building automation management system and physical observation.
Conducts Facilities & Maintenance machine inventories as well as equipment stored in the warehouse and arranges disposal of obsolete or no-longer-required equipment.
Manages facilities contractors (electrical, HVAC, grounds, security) projects as needed.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR
In absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required
Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
Experience with Siemens Insight and Desigo integrated building management platform for controlling facility HVAC functions.
Experience with INFOR EAM software for preventative maintenance and equipment efficiency.
Experience with AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Office Suite software.
