We are currently seeking a Customer Service Engineeer to join our teams within Crawley, West Sussex, UK.

The successful candidate will be part of a system deployment team with their main responsibilities revolving around deployment of software applications but also providing support and installation for hardware.

Providing the day to day support of the service along with new solutions, and troubleshooting, this role works closely with other deployment engineers and IT support staff to ensure timely roll outs and the wellbeing of other EMEA infrastructure.

The Customer Service Engineer will be primarily responsible for:-

  • Monitoring of systems and implementing required configurations to ensure availability, reliability, adherence to security standards, and optimal system performance

  • Identifying and troubleshooting hardware and software technical problems.

  • Plan, design, and implement necessary configurations to bespoke software

  • Monitoring of systems and implementing required configurations to ensure availability, reliability, adherence to security standards, and optimal system performance

  • Technical support of bespoke applications and offerings of the Collins brand

  • Assessment and execution of broadly defined technical tasks that require the use of independence, judgement and creativity

  • On call third level support of Collins products either on site or remotely

  • Physical server builds

  • Physical kiosk builds

  • Develop required documentation for system configuration, and support procedure

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft MCSE

  • Experience with MS SQL

  • Exposure to Cloud providers such as AWS

  • Exposure to Telco or Service Provider environments

  • Second Language
