Raytheon Technologies Engineering Fellow, Electrical Engineer - MMIC Development in Dallas, Texas
Unique opportunity for a Technical Fellow role on our Microelectronics MMIC design team.
In this role you will interface with customers and program offices, lead proposals for new business, develop technology roadmaps, deploy new technologies and improve the team’s design processes. The preferred candidate must have the ability to gain confidence of the customer and describe in detail the advances and advantages of Raytheon's RF MMICs for new and existing products.
The Technical Fellow is expected to be a subject matter expert in MMIC technology, develop new design techniques and find innovative ways to improve existing performance. Development work will be focused on Gallium Arsenide and Gallium Nitride technologies. Technical Fellows shape and influence the strategic direction of the product lines, plan IRAD, and win new CRAD business.
Expertise in Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) and Gallium Nitride (GaN) technologies.
Experience with MMIC development from concepts to production.
KeySight ADS and/or Microwave Office software tools.
Proficient in the use of Momentum, Sonnet EM or Axiem for 3D planar electromagnetic simulations.
Expertise in performing microwave and millimeter-wave tests in the laboratory.
Outstanding written communication skills evidenced by published presentations or papers.
Innovation as evidenced by patents awarded.
Experience performing root cause analysis and correcting circuit failures.
Established relationships with government labs – DARPA, NRL, AFRL, etc.
Experience leading proposals including development of technical solution and writing portions of both technical and cost volumes.
Self-starter with initiative and sound independent judgment.
Capable in leading multi-disciplined design teams across multiple projects.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at a time.
BS degree in Electrical Engineering and 12 years of experience, MS and 10 years of experience, PhD and 8 years of experience
PhD in Electrical Engineering.
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
