Raytheon Technologies Janitor/Custodian -- Clearance Required in Dallas, Texas

Job Description:

Provide custodial services to ensure Raytheon facilities are maintained at or above accepted industry standards for a safe and clean work environment. Responsibilities include every type of floor care (vacuuming, sweeping, stripping, waxing, shampooing, spot and spill removal, etc.); full restroom care (supply stocking, fixture plunging, dispensing machine care and replacement, general cleaning, debris removal, sanitizing, disinfecting, etc.); full building entrance care (including debris removal, trash receptacle maintenance and collection, cigarette/gum cleaning etc.); general building trash collection and on-site trash repository, cleaning of all microwave ovens and public refrigerators, furniture care, general dusting, glass door and window care, general wall and surface cleaning; and special event custodial support.

Required Skills:

-Good verbal communication skills

-Able to understand and follow strict security procedures

-Able to walk/stand for extended periods

-Able to lift 25 lbs (trash bags, surplus material)

-Able to bend over, kneel, squat as needed to clean areas

-Able to operate cleaning equipment and machinery (brooms, mops, vacuums, floor scrubbers, etc)

  • US DoD Secret Clearance that is current/active, or inactive for under 2 years since last use is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.

Desired Skills:

-Attention to detail, courteous, customer service oriented

-Able to lead/manage a custodial team of 3-4 people

Active Top Secret clearance (or inactive for less than 2 years since last use) is preferred.

Required Education (including Major):

High School Diploma or equivalent
