Raytheon Technologies Robust Design Lead in Dallas, Texas

Raytheon Intelligence & Space is seeking an experienced engineer to serve as a Robust Design Lead for development programs in the Dallas, Texas Expressway facility. The Robust Design Lead role will be responsible for mechanical design producibility and technical data package review and release in support of mission-critical hardware production.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ yrs of professional related working experience

  • Experience in hardware development, production, and delivery

  • Experience collaborating with multi-functional teams

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Experience leading a technical team as an IPTL or CPTL

  • Experience compiling and briefing program status to management and customers

  • Experience interfacing with senior leadership to provide strategy, status, and reporting on program efforts

  • Experience with business and project management tools and procedures

  • Experience in the design and deployment of military electronics

  • Experience in the development and fabrication of RF system electronics

  • Experience in proposal development

  • Experience in presenting in gate reviews

  • Experience assessing/auditing supplier capabilities

  • Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

  • Experience with mechanical assembly tolerance analysis and tools

  • Experience with technical data package development and release

  • Experience with CAD software and database management

  • Active top secret clearance.

    Desired Qualifications:

  • GD&T training and certification

  • Experienced user of PTC Creo and cPDM

  • cPDM drawing release workflow experience

  • EVMS certification

  • Experienced user of CETOL tolerance analysis software

  • Experienced user of producibility assessment tools such as PCAT

  • Experience with factory design guidelines such as those used by Raytheon Dallas TX and Raytheon Forest MS facilities

  • Experience working with supply chain on Make/Buy/Where supplier selections

  • Experience auditing metal fab and electronics suppliers

  • PM level certification

    Required Education:

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

    Desired Education:

  • Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
