This opportunity is for a Program Operations role within the RSS Product Line in the RI&S ISRS Mission Area. supporting Proposal activity.
In this position the Operations Lead will partner with Program Management, various functions and factories to shape, develop and execute the strategies and objectives of the product line.
This role will span activities beginning with the front end of the business, supporting proposal activity and planning, through the successful execution of each contract and thru eventual program closure activities. This position is focused on the RSS production program.
This position is responsible for the collaboration among the program teams which include the factory operations performers to ensure cost, schedule and technical performance of proposed business aligns with business area production capabilities. Develops business area Ops priorities in support of program deliveries.
Coordination of material procurement and supplier management to include make/buy/where decisions, assembly, testing, trouble shooting, root cause investigations, proposal support, developing EACs and ensuring appropriate staffing. Drives cross-functional teams to realize significant improvements in value stream performance. Focus will be on business area On-Time Schedule performance.
Minimum of 5+ years of program operations, management, operations or related experience
Proposal Experience, Control Account or Budget Management experience
Must understand configuration management and engineering change processes
Must be able to proactively identify and execute opportunities for process and yield improvement, and supportive of business initiatives including Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing
Proven capability to analyze and use metrics and to convey these metrics in an intelligible manner to team, leadership and other relevant parties
Competence with MS Office and Project applications
Ensure proper resources are available, priorities established and communication occurs with all CPT members/key stakeholders
Able to promote and understand the value of diversity to the business
Demonstrates initiative, persistence and creativity in problem solving
Understands the value of communication and keeps the team, leadership and other relevant parties fully informed of performance, gaps and success
Utilize proper corrective actions, discipline and rewards and recognitions consistent with policy
SAP experience and/or ERP Systems knowledge
Multi-site Leadership experience
Must be a US Citizen as the position will require the ability to access US only Data Systems
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance

Excellent oral and written communications skills, team building, change management and team leadership experience and able to work with minimum direct supervision.
Defense Industry experience
EVMS Training and/or Certification
Ability to influence development of project objectives and goals.
5 years of factory Management Experience
5 years of Operations Management Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related field
Master’s Degree (Business or Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related field
