The Integration and Test (I&T) Systems Engineer will join a dynamic product line team responsible for delivering state of the art system-of-systems. The I&T Engineer will work as a test conductor within the prime integration team and will be responsible for supporting multi-disciplined and multi-organizational test teams to integrate, test, and demonstrate this production system.
This is an opportunity to use your strong foundation in either software or electrical hardware / firmware, troubleshooting and data analysis skills, and ability to solve technical problems to run systems / I&T engineering and acceptance test procedures. You will also contribute to brain-storming sessions associated with troubleshooting new problems. The I&T Engineer will communicate daily with the test team as well as other engineers associated with production test. In addition, you will look for innovative opportunities to increase efficiency and to cross-train with other members of the team. There may be opportunities for travel to support other labs.
Minimum 6 years of related work experience to include systems/hardware integration and troubleshooting.
Ability to analyze system problems and communicate issues to the engineering team.
Self-starter with ability to grasp concepts quickly.
Experience in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with demonstrated ability to multi-task and deliver sound technical results.
Some knowledge of Linux or UNIX (basic commands, directories, etc.)
Willingness to work both 1st and 2nd shift (as needed for training, gap coverage, etc.)
Strong written/verbal communication skills; experience using Microsoft Office
An active and in-scope DOD Top Secret US security clearance is required.
Knowledge of radar systems operation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in scripting
Experience/Knowledge with general laboratory test setup and Special Test Equipment (Signal Generators, Oscilloscope, Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in related STEM discipline (such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, etc.)
