The Integration and Test (I&T) Systems Engineer will join our Radar Sensor Systems (RSS) product line team to perform integration and test activities in support of software and hardware testing for a state of the art radar system. The I&T Engineer will work as a test conductor of the software integration team. As test conductor the engineer will be responsible for supporting a multi-disciplined and multi-organizational test team to integrate, test software functionality.
As a member of the Integration and Test team, you will establish test environments in the Systems Development Lab (SDL); work with the development teams to integrate and test newly developed software, existing software updates and newly refreshed hardware, as well as document test results and troubleshoot issues. The I&T Systems Engineer will regularly interface with other engineering teams and program management to ensure consistent application of engineering best practices using 6 Sigma to foster a culture of continuous process improvement.
Minimum 6 years of related Systems Engineering and/or System Integration experience; including d eveloping and verifying test plans and procedures.
Experience with Linux/UNIX and Real-Time Operating Systems
Familiarity with lab test equipment for testing and troubleshooting
Develop and influence test objectives collaboratively with software engineering team(s)
Compile and analyze test data and provide detailed reports of test results; perform root-cause analysis and apply corrective actions for test failures
Accountable for documentation completeness and control;
Capable of making real-time decisions and working with multi-organizational teams to ensure testing activities are successful
Experience creating integration and verification strategies to support efficiency improvement
Strong written/verbal communication skills including working with Microsoft Office Suite of Tools.
An active and in-scope DOD Top Secret US security clearance is required.
Experience working with internal engineering disciplines
Knowledge of Agile and SCRUM Methodologies
Experience in Shell Scripting
Experience with Wireshark, VxWorks Tools (Profiler/Debugger)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in a related STEM discipline – such as Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, etc.
