Raytheon Technologies Tech Support Specialist Sr in Dallas, Texas
Test and troubleshoot several types of hardware in a Depot/production/development environment. The candidate will also develop solutions to test issues and develop productivity and efficiency enhancements. The candidate will interact with test technicians, factory facilitators, operations managers, engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel.
Experience with electronics and electrical circuits as well as ability to isolate failures to root cause
Experience with EE lab equipment such as multi-meters, signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers
Experience with tracking equipment calibration expiration dates and ability to work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure equipment calibration compliance
Ability to build hardware such as test cables and test equipment as needed
Ability to read drawings and electrical schematics
Ability to manage various hardware labs on an as-needed basis to serve as the Lab Custodian
Ability to support testing and troubleshooting of multiple digital, analog, RF, and power CCA types
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to document test results and repair recommendations clearly and concisely
Ability to travel between Raytheon Dallas and McKinney sites as this job requires the candidate to split time between the two locations (about 30 miles apart)
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
Existing Secret Clearance
Ability to solder CCA components
Proficiency with LabVIEW
Asset JTAG proficiency
Required Education (including Major):
Associate’s or Technical degree with 8 years of related experience or a High School diploma or equivalent with 10 years of related experience
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
