Raytheon Technologies Mgr I Systems Integrations (IT) in Doha, Qatar
Raytheon IIS has a requirement for an Information Technology (IT) Specialist with experience in developing and maintaining information systems.
The Information Technologist is responsible for local support of a Raytheon training facility’s desktop environment for on-site staff and students for the Training compound in Qatar. Will work with site Industrial Security/Facility manager and off-site Network Engineer to facilitate communication and data networking for the training program’s support team and students. This may include participating in the design and upgrade of the IT Infrastructure. Will also work with Industrial Security/Facility manager and support staff to ensure an appropriate level of IT security.
The IT specialist will be responsible for the following:
Having a fundamental knowledge of computer hardware and software and network operations, including WiFi and servers.
Developing drawings and documentation of current IT infrastructure and providing guidance on future expansion of that infrastructure.
Understanding, and the ability to complete system restore images for computer hardware replacement.
Maintain current knowledge of all pertinent existing policies, procedures, and guidelines and acting as site POC for all IT and IT security policies and procedures.
Maintain Students and Training Instructor’s software/hardware desktop environment for changes.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) for information technology as needed by the organization.
Maintain conference and briefing room sound and visual systems.
Install and maintain services and devices for business use which do not interfere with current bandwidth or ability to conduct business.
Subject Matter Expert on Microsoft Office products, SharePoint, anti-virus and anti-malware such as Symantec and OpenDNS to support software installations and provide users with help and assistance.
Work with Supply Chain to procure IT and communications hardware
Work closely with Local and Third Party Nationals to facilitate the maintenance and expansion of current and future computer/data networks and services.
Maintains technical knowledge of voice and data networks hardware and software as they relate to the training program facility.
Develop site specific documentation and job aids for students and instructors.
This position will deploy to Qatar.
Must have an existing US DoD Secret Clearance.
Must be willing to work and live in Qatar.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a visa for Qatar.
2+ years of experience directly related to Windows Desktop support.
Experience in the following areas: Imaging hardware, Patch Management, Anti-Virus, OS Upgrades, computer security and system monitoring and logging.
Possess knowledge and technical experience in the use of all Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Adobe Acrobat products.
Experience providing support to remote locations and interacting with off-site personnel on technical matters including IT support personnel in the US to troubleshoot and resolve issues remotely.
Microsoft Certifications (MCTS, MCITP) Experience with Cisco routers, networking, and Wi-Fi in a business environment International work experience.
Communication and diplomatic skills a must; significant interaction with all segments of the program and students Ability to take a system approach to a customer's problem.
Possess writing, speaking, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Be detail-oriented with the ability to work under deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with speed and efficiency.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Math and 6 years of related work experience. May substitute experience for education. (i.e., Associate’s degree or Tech School plus 10 years of related IT experience, high school plus 14 years of related experience.)
