Raytheon Technologies Project Management Liaison in Doha, Qatar

This is a dual level req - grade 06 / 07 depending on the candidates level of experience.

Qatar Mission Center has a requirement for a Project Management Liaison (PML) to support all Qatar program with host nation support, visa processing, employee reception and repatriation and management of Qatar Ministries.

Job Description:

The Principal Project Management Liaison will work directly under the supervision of the Office Mission Center Manager. Primary duties includes providing administrative support to the Qatar Leadership team, assist in the normalization and legalization processing of all sponsorship requirements managed by our third party vendor to include, but not limited to: entry, residency, housing, exit visa and residency visa renewal applications for employees; the processing installation access badges; manage our subcontractors; and the management of the contract project files when applicable. The position requires the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, vendors, customers and external government agencies to include Qatar Ministries and country embassy.

Required Hours:

Work may include nights, holidays, and weekends on short notice.

Responsibilities:

The Project Management Liaison shall be responsible for the following:

  • Assisting in the execution with our third party vendor of host nation coordination with the

sponsor for all sponsorship actions to include the processing of entry, exit and resident visas, renewals of existing resident visas, and host nation drivers licenses.

  • Assisting and ensuring policies are established in compliance with Raytheon Technologies’ guidelines for the processing of access control badges for employees to the main office and bases.

  • Brief status on outstanding or upcoming host nation visits, action items, and immigration.

  • Coordinates / assist deployment/redeployment travel of employees with employees, IAS, Human Resources and Mission Center employees.

  • Provide additional reception duties as a backup, responsible for allowing entry into the Mission Center, which includes, but not limited to, background checks, entry into the visitor system, obtaining copies of required documents, and the returned access badges and all program property and equipment prior to departure from Qatar

  • Assist with and plan employee and leadership team events

Required Qualifications:

  • Min of 1 year experience in similar position

  • Possess knowledge and technical expertise in the use of all Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Adobe Acrobat products.

  • Superior Interpersonal and Communications skills

  • Be detail-oriented with the ability to work under challenging deadlines.

  • Able to work closely with other team members, Customers, and End Users.

  • Must be willing to travel to Qatar bases and wear protective clothing and equipment as required.

  • Working knowledge of host nation processing requirements for entry, resident, exit visas and resident visa renewals.

  • Fluent in Arabic and English

  • Valid Qatar driver’s license or able to acquire one within 2 months of employment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working on a US government contract.

  • Knowledge and experience working in the Middle East—Qatar, Kuwait and Oman

  • Experience interfacing with different Host Nation Ministries and relevant government agencies

  • Ability to network and create meaningful government contacts while conducting business at the different ministries and government agencies

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any business related field

Contractor personnel shall comply with all theater command policies, regulations, and General Orders.

All tours are unaccompanied
