Raytheon Technologies Sr Eng Logistics Spec II in Doha, Qatar
The Whole Life Engineering Directorate (WLED) is made up of several disciplines whose main objective is to influence hardware and systems early in their life cycle to assure effective operation, reliability, maintainability and economical ownership by the customer and end user.
The WLED provides leadership and expertise in executing the 12 disciplines in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). The Sr. Logistics Specialist II will be primarily be responsible for supporting all warehouse transportation operations at the Qatar Depot warehouse activity.
The position will be based out of the Raytheon office in Doha, Qatar.
Provide primary interface and coordination with the Qatar Logistics lead, customer, suppliers and Land Warfare & Air Defense program office for all transportation and documentation for outbound and inbound shipments; Provide accurate status and outlooks to the program leadership and the customer for all shipments moving in and out of the country
Maintain close interaction with the transportation teams, freight forwarder shipping lines and logistics providers from all of the shipment origination locations to include pre-shipment authorizations and export / import documentation required
Responsible for pick up and/or delivery of depot material through use of several transportation modes including hand trucks, pickup truck or forklift; Preparation of items for shipment through UPS, DHL, FEDEX or overland via truck; complete shipping authorization for surplus equipment or damaged items
Assist with the control of the flow of goods, services and information from origin through delivery in order to meet customer requirements; Assist with processing warehouse pick tickets for issue and supply to field or depot operations
Assist in providing support to Depot logistics lead in compilation reports of issues, receivables and exceptions; Assist in reporting material status to the program leadership team and ensuring material is ordered on time to ensure availability
Conduct inventories of all equipment, tools and material supplies; Maintain thresholds for all Qatar NASAMS material needs; Ensure preservation of all tools, test equipment, and consumable & expendable material;
Assist in daily support tasks requests such as receipts, unpacking, discrepancies, accountability, and storage of items systematically on shelves, bins, or other designated storage location areas; Checking/verifying material receipts for count/condition and maintain accurate files and material records of items received and issued out of warehouse
Assist in the execution of Packaging Handling, Shipping and Transportation actions in accordance with the established program plans and directives; Support the receipt, unpacking, sorting, issue of material and/or store items systematically on shelves, bins, or other designated storage location areas
6+ years familiarity with transportation of military equipment and accompanying documentation
Warehouse experience with duties involving request, receipt, storage, issue and preservation of supply related items
Must be skilled in use of computer program such as Microsoft Office
Existing Secret clearance required
Previous experience in supply support of an equivalent system
Previous training and experience in
International Transportation and handling of explosive material
Currently hold or the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), or international equivalent.
Previous working experience with a Material Management System.
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor Degree/Associates Degree or 2 years of related warehouse experience
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
