Raytheon Technologies Contracts Negotiator in Dulles, Virginia
Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RI&S) is seeking a Contracts Negotiator who will support various Government programs that provide modernization and upgrades to the Global Hawk ground segment capability in Japan and Korea as well as spares and repairs to support current the warfighter, other responsibilities may also be assigned depending on needs and new requirements.
Professionally represent Raytheon on contractual transactions and work closely with customers to develop business relationships
Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives, and comply with company policies
Provide analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contracts execution, as well as general contract administration
Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract scope
Identify, mitigate, and drive the resolution of contractual issues as they may arise
Work closely within cross-functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate Terms and Conditions and pricing proposals, examine and understand cost structure estimates of labor, material, engineering services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as possible mitigation of contractual/program risks.
Process business agreements, i.e. strategic agreements, proprietary information agreements, etc.
Responsibly escalate topics that require management awareness and participation.
The primary work location will be Sterling, VA.
Minimum 4 years of experience working with contractual agreements
Experience in contract negotiations and supporting the creation of proposal documents
Ability to foster good customer relationships and be a trusted partner on all contractual matters
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent record keeping
Manage multiple projects at once
Knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations and other US Government regulations
Experience with multiple contract types and vehicles including IDIQ, FPIF, FFP, CPIF, CPFF
Computer proficiency; experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Adobe
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
As the successful candidate, you will work closely and successfully within the program Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment, regularly interface with your customers, both external and internal, across multi-disciplinary functions, and at various levels throughout the organization. In this role you must be able to foresee and recognize business and contractual issues in program performance, recommend innovative and compliant solutions, successfully implement solutions, and exercise professional judgement and behavior in all matters.
