The Content Manager will assist in the ongoing implementation of our global brand strategy, with a focus on the critical role content plays in strengthening P&W’s identity. She/he will possess a keen eye for both quality and consistency and will play a central role in maintaining the company’s standards for content, all while ensuring alignment across the organization.


The chosen candidate will be a content manager with significant experience generating her/his own work and leading content vendors. She/he will demonstrate a high level of creativity and a proven ability to support alignment within the context of a defined brand strategy. More specifically, she/he will partner with our Employer of Choice (EOC), Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (D,E&I), CSR and public affairs communications leads on content development for these priorities (for both internal and external promotion), as well as manage the social postings and web content for these same priorities.

She/he will help foster a strategy-first mindset, emphasizing the value of holistic campaigns that extend across all channels. In doing so, she/he will help our Brand & Digital Strategy leads unite complex workflows and manage projects and campaigns from the early stages of development through final approval and completion.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Support and assist in the implementation of promotional campaigns designed to reach multiple target audiences (employees, customers and other key external stakeholders);

  • Assist in the planning, design, and dissemination of creative assets, collateral and promotional items;

  • Monitor and propose content opportunities with team members and internal clients;

  • Support the company’s global social media and audience engagement strategy;

  • Develop and update digital content in support of strategic campaigns;

  • Collaborate with other communications specialists to identify and pursue growth opportunities;

  • Work with customers, vendors, and suppliers to support strategic goals;

  • Measure analytics to help assess project effectiveness and ROI.

The content manager must be a motivated self-starter with:

  • 4-6 years of Communications experience;

  • Strong writing and communications skills;

  • Highly efficient project management abilities;

  • Ability to take initiative and suggest creative solutions

  • Passionate about social media and growing audiences;

  • Positive team player and an enthusiastic work ethic;

  • Familiarity with Pratt & Whitney’s content, tone and voice;

  • Experienced with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Sprinklr;

  • Good understanding of social media analytics and experience optimizing content;

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under deadline pressure;

  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging content using multimedia tools such as video, audio, etc. and/or software such as Adobe’s creative suite is a plus;

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
