This position is for a Staff Engineer, Control System Airframe Integration Engineering professional. Key r esponsibilities include the following:
Establish and manage incoming and outgoing control system and power and thermal management interface requirements through established program tools, primarily through ICDs, but also through FRDs, SRD, CSRD, CICRs and other requirements documents. Analyze, decompose, validate and document all relevant functional requirements.
As required, plan and coordinate verification and validation plans for Airframe/Engine Interface Requirements, including planning and execution of airframe integration rigs. As required, support onsite airframer integration, validation & verification.
Participate as necessary in Airframe Integration, ESIT/PSIT, EDSIT, SIPT, CCB, TSIT and CIPT meetings. Coordinate and lead airframe / control system Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and Design Reviews as required.
Develop critical integration milestones and handoffs for the control system by integrating with airframers, PSA, ASDI, TMS, Structures, ATF, Mechanical Systems, Externals, and RMS.
Identify, assess and communication system-level functional risks, and develop mitigation plans and execute burndowns of those risks.
Work with CIPT leads and team members to help establish CDS and PTMS CIPT program schedules and objectives.
Coordinate and, as necessary, lead CDS and PTMS program milestone system reviews.
Coordinate and, as necessary, lead root cause investigation efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure full compliance of external communications with relevant IP, ITC, export and OPSEC regulations and requirements.
BS Degree in Engineering
7 + years of engineering experience or 5 years with an advance degree
U.S. Citizens due to program requirements
Active security clearance
Advance degree in Engineering
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
Desire for continuous learning and innovation
