Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Deputy Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT), Adaptive Programs, Controls & Diagnostics to work onsite at our East Hartford, CT campus. The Deputy CIPT Leader for Adaptive programs has cradle to grave ownership of the software development cycle of the sixth generation military engine. One of the key deliverables of the Deputy CIPT Leader is to develop competitive software architecture, development, and execution plan for the next generation adaptive military platform. The Deputy CIPT Leader is a key part of CDS’s leadership team and will help the organization in culture transformation.
Provide leadership to the entire value stream from concept through design to delivery and ensures that all technical and business requirements are met for the control system.
Manage the budget and ensuring milestones are met.
Actively work to strengthen alignment in the organization and help develop and mentor their team.
BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience and 10 years of prior relevant engineering experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and 7+ years' experience.
US Citizenship required due to government contracts.
Able to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
Travel up to 5%.
Prior experience in systems software and/or deputy CIPT Leader experience.
Demonstrated strong team leadership and strategic leadership skills.
Highly motivated, able to work across organizational boundaries and have demonstrated exceptional communication skills across all levels of the enterprise.
